As a PSYPACT approved clinical psychologist, Dr. Z is able to accept clients from 37 states that have already been approved as PSYPACT states. This ensures accessibility and quality care for clients across a broad geographic area.

To schedule an appointment, simply request appointment online, submit contact information or email at [email protected]. A link will be emailed to you for you to access the HIPAA compliant portal. Once entering the client portal, there will be forms for you to fill out and sign. These forms include reasons for seeking out therapy, consent, practice policies and billing.

Typically, therapy sessions are scheduled 1-2x/week. Regular and consistent sessions are essential to allow for continuity, progress, and the establishment of a strong therapeutic relationship. Because of this importance, if there is a conflict with scheduling, clients agree to make every effort to reschedule for that week. 

Absolutely. We prioritize client confidentiality and adhere to strict ethical guidelines. Your privacy and trust are of utmost importance to us. Without trust, the progress within the therapeutic relationship is compromised. When participating in telehealth services it is important to find a confidential place where you can have your appointment. 

The first session is an opportunity to share more in depth information for reasons for seeking services and to get to know each other better. Goals, concerns and treatment plan will be discussed to tailor services toward your specific needs. You are encouraged to ask any questions or share any information that will help us care for you most effectively.

The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some clients find short-term therapy helpful, while others may engage in longer-term therapy for more complex issues. We will work collaboratively to determine the best approach for you.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible. We appreciate your prompt notification to accommodate other clients in need. 

Yes, all therapy sessions are conducted through telehealth. This means you can conveniently access therapy from the comfort of your own space, using video sessions displayed on your computer or through the user-friendly mobile app.

We utilize HIPAA compliant software provided by Simple Practice. Their secure platform ensures the confidentiality and privacy of your sessions. The software is user-friendly and even offers a downloadable app from the Apple App Store or Android App Store. Through the app and website, you can easily access your schedule, update your information, and cancel appointments online (prior to 72 hours) for added convenience.
